Helium

Borrowed from New Latin hēlium, from Ancient Greek ἥλιος (hḗlios, “sun”). The name of the gas was a derivation from the Ancient Greek term for Sun because helium was the first element to be found in the Sun's atmosphere via spectroscopy.
