1. A person who believes in polydeism.
   • 2001, Ramon M. Lemos, A Neomedieval Essay in Philosophical Theology, page 34:

     Since they do not believe in a plurality of deities, perhaps they should be regarded as monodeists rather than polydeists.

   • 2007, Gordon M. Hahn, Russia's Islamic threat, page 122:

     Shariah expresses the Salafists' emphasis on jihad not simply against non-believers but against Sufi "polydeists" (mnogobozhniki) in its 9 April 2005 message, quoting a verse from the Koran frequently cited by Salafists: "Kill the polydeists everwhere you find them, sieze them, fight them, and set up ambushes against them in every place" (9:5).
