1. (hapax legomenon) an ignoramus, know-nothing
   • c. 27 CE – 66 CE, Petronius, Satyricon 50.5:

     Et ne me putetis nesapium esse, valde bene scio, unde primum Corinthea [vasa] nata sint.

     Don't start thinking I am such ignoramus, I know perfectly well the origins of Corinthean vases.
